Duties and responsibilities: Anesthesiologists are the physicians trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during a surgical procedure. They are also responsible for managing and treating changes in your critical life functions - breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure - as they are affected by the surgery being performed.

Education: The road to becoming a board-certified anesthesiologist is long, requiring a minimum of 12 years of postsecondary education. Aspiring anesthesiologists must first become fully qualified physicians and then complete rigorous residency requirements.

 Reflection: Anesthesiologist looks like an easy job but I would not like to be one because the education is 12 years and I don’t want a career that takes too much years.
