No One Should Die Alone, Need Volunteers

Must be at least 18 years or older
The patients are terminally ill and in their final stages of
life. As a Volunteer you will be visiting patients in their own homes, in
hospitals or other nursing facilities. You'll be assigned to a patient as close
to your home as possible. You will be willing to read books, papers, do hobbies
and talk and share stories about life time.
Ways to Give
Local residents, neighbors, high school students, and also
college students are welcome to apply. Whether you are drawn to volunteering in
order to learn something new, to develop a skill, or to give something back,
rest assured that as a California Hospital volunteer you will reap personal
rewards as you connect with your community, build relationships with others,
and add meaning to your life.
Students from ages 15-17 can volunteer and need parent permission
to volunteer. Students can help by way finding patient escort/ transport, and
floater. You can only volunteer 4 hours per day only for 100 hours Monday thru
Friday.
